| another year is gone!! first time didn't spend the chinese new year with family. a bit strange, a bit homesick and missed my red envelops a lot. had some fun celebrating it with coworkers, captain, and seamen on the boat. the food was really nice! and was great to see those seamen having fun and enjoying themselves as a family.

| had a bbq with our shipping agency here on new year eve, though had more fun bathing poor spanky and setting off some small fireworks. people in trinidad have parties really really late! normally when we leave, people start coming! think i am really getting old, can't really stay up too late now. ps. the couple are only in their 30s and they have five kids!!the boy was playing pc games, not in this pic.

| great weekend with erine and sharry. had a pajama party, played settlers all night, chatted all night. super happy. then saw the upside of anger, and a moment to remember the next evening. the movies were ok, just entertaining.
work is ok, think i am not a productive employee, have nothing to do most of time. and just heard that our manager quit, hmmm, i think i will be the same too. got another job at citys english. will be teaching there this thur evening. finished teaching at hess last night, had a farewell party at norman's, it was good. but didn't really feel like i was leaving hess.
permed my hair last week, and one of my friend said i looked like in my thirties! i thought i looked mature, but not that mature! anyway, its good to have some changes sometimes. | | |

have to work on sats, ugh....but its ok, i think i like my job so far. very challenging, can learn lots of things from it. people are all very friendly, i guess they need to or we new people will run away pretty soon. got a mail from tania, was really happy to hear from her, she is really a cool woman!ohh and i ordered a set of drums, will get it on monday, really excited! am going to play tomorrow at church, hope it will be good too. need to practice more, bit stressed lately....hmmm, dreaming of running a lot....what happened? | | |
| got a job, starting today, at a trading company. it seems to be a fun job to do. will be lots of business trips! people here are quite busy, except for me writing in my blog. but today slept late, only got 10 mins before work. that was really close. hmmm, i can be really fast. would be a disaster if late on the first day of work. ahh, couldn't sleep at night, mosquitos! ohh, moved in the new house yesterday. my own room! but still very messy. observed teaching at city's english yesterday evening, those teachers are ok, but could interact with students really well. then practiced worship songs, it was fun but i really need to practice a lot, maybe will get a set of drums soon. | | |
